Plans
Free while
we get this right.
Kino Cloud is in beta and nothing costs anything yet. The plans below are the shape we are building toward — we have not set prices, because we would rather ask the people who will pay them. Tell us which one fits and we will come back with a number.
The free tier is not a trial — it stays free

Licensed, not hosted
Enterprise.
Every piece on your own infrastructure. Nothing dials home. You run the control plane, the relays, and the agents. There is no account on our servers, no traffic across our infrastructure, and nothing to reach on the public internet — which is the only answer that works on a network that will not accept an outbound dependency it does not control.
The desktop app, the agent, and the relay stay open source. What you licence is kino-control — the one closed piece — plus the support contract behind it.
- kino-control on your own servers
- Your relays, your network, your data
- No outbound dependency on us - works air-gapped
- Your own identity provider in front of it
- Unlimited machines and users
- Support contract and updates
On every plan, including free
Bring your
own relay.
The relay is open source and always will be. Run one on your own box and there is no bandwidth ceiling, on any plan — your traffic takes your route, and you still get one-command installs, discovery, and credentials that expire on their own.

Reasonable questions
Why is there no price on this page?
Because there is no billing yet, and half of what the paid plans describe is still being built. Publishing a number we cannot charge, for features that do not exist, would be worse than admitting where we are.
Will the free tier get worse when you launch?
No. 3 machines is the floor, not a trial. We can raise a free limit; we are not going to lower one.
Can I use Kino without paying you anything, ever?
Yes. The app, the agent, and the relay are open source. Run a relay with a shared token and skip Kino Cloud entirely — it is documented, not tolerated. What you would be paying for is not having to.
Can I run the control plane myself too?
Yes — that is the Enterprise plan. kino-control is the one proprietary piece, and it is licensed to run on your own infrastructure with a support contract. Nothing then leaves your network.
What happens to my machines if you disappear?
They keep running. Kino Cloud is not in the data path, and the agent and relay work with a static token and no control plane at all. Worst case you set one token and carry on.
